I’m down to 9 basses now. Sold 4 last year, frankly I could sell another 4... I’ve got my favourites.

Just got my third bass. I'm madly in love with it. I'm so new to the bass that I didn't realize how much different it could be between basses. My previous two are Ibanez Mikro Shortscale. They're awesome basses. Then I decided to treat myself with a Sterling Stingray Shortscale. I really suits me, and how I play. The strings feel like butter, and the tone is so rich. It's made playing easier for me. Here's a not fantastic pic of it... lol

It is #28..........I think.......
I just had too.......they had down so cheap because of a few dings and scrapes, sides and bottom, they were practically giving it away. So cheap I thought it was a mistake or misprint. But I hit buy and it appeared on my doorstep today. I picked up the box and thought it was empty. Lol. My first Silver instrument ever. Yea! Plays fine and it’s super light, I was hoping it would be, just like my other Tune TWB5 QM I plan to have it defretted because I sold my only fretless five a few years ago and have regretted it ever since.
Tune TWX51. Must be from Area 51.

I'm down to 9 electrics and 1 upright. My 95 P Lyte found a new happy home last summer after sitting in a truck for most of a month.
These ended up being the ones I use most, especially the Hammersmith. The Hammy and the 76P just recently got new Fender bent plate bridges. Much happier with them now that they're considerably lighter, especially the Hammy, which only weighs 7 3/8 lbs now.
The 76 got a new paint job and bridge a year ago:

My two modern active neck-thru basses and Buffy circa 2010. Guitar Factory in Orlando. Note the whammy on the 4. Love having a bass with one but I'll never get another one.
After I painted the 76 P body last summer, I did a little work on the 5-string:
The outlier cheap-neck-and-body PJ. Is not bad, sounds terrific, just isn't quite as good or cool looking as my black ones. But changing the tuners to Hipshot Ultralites last year made it weigh 7 1/4 lbs, so it found its way back into rotation right before Covid hit.
Last but certainly not least, my Upton Hawkes upright, the best feeling and sounding plywood upright I've ever played.

Ibanez TRB15 - I have owned it since 1994 and will never part with it no matter how many more basses I buy;
Cort B5 Artisan - I like the weight of it, feels sturdy and easy to play
Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 Fretless - it's my fretless, say no more
Warwick Rockbass Corvette Basic Active 6 - I always wanted a 6 string and only recently bought this, I haven't played many 6s so I don't have a great frame of reference but I really enjoy playing this since adjusting the action on it. I'm sure I will buy another 6 or a 7 before long.
