"Collection" isn't the word I'd use...
For instance, I wouldn't call the toolbox full of wrenches, pliers, and screwdrivers out in the garage a "tool collection" - they all have a purpose. I have a
collection of Pez dispensers.
Anyhow, I have a 4-string Dingwall that's my main player - it goes where I go.
The other basses get played as often as I can, but admittedly are there mainly for nostalgia:
- A modded 1983 Squier Precision - same model and era as my first bass ever
- A PJ built by Del Langejans (who owned the guitar shop in my hometown)
- A fretless P-Bass that my daughter and I sourced off Craiglist scrap parts and rebuilt together
