I gig with the 4001, Longhorn and '62 PBass, but practice on some of the "others". Since we have a stable of Basses, a few of them are loaned to friends who would like to play Bass.

"The Boy" gigs with the '82 PBass, Gibson, or 4001 (when I'm not playing it).

I've been safely within the five to nine bass group for a few years, hovering at six or seven. I'd buy one, sell one, buy another, sell another, it was cool.

Tonight I paused and took stock... uh oh.

All inexpensive short scales. 3 new and 1 used. About 725 USD for the 4 of them.

Just a hobby for me though - I don't play gigs.

Let's do an update: 1 PJ, 1 P, 1 fretless J, 1 J "special" (bucker in the bridge position), 1 electro—acoustic 5er and an Yamaha 5er I just ordered.

So it'll be 6 as soon as the TRB arrives. Would be 7 if I didn't have to sell my upright...
