Just put a new black pick guard on my MIA Jazz. I was white. I think it looks a lot cleaner.

That does look great. My fender was painted by Jon Hill (Hill guitars but now known as bootleg guitars) before I got it from my friend. It's silver metal flake

Yeah, I know the feeling. Mine are on two walls of my bedroom, one wall of the TV room, the Kalas sit on stands on a bureau, and a couple on floor stands.

Already pretty sure about my next project, maybe next two.

Man, I'm jealous of the expendable income displayed in this thread. I'd love to be able to have a collection like I've seen a few of on TB, though it would take a lot to get to that point (over other priorities).

After working for almost 50 years, 38+ at a job that what I paid and the company paid affords me a good retirement I collect, build, rebuild basses and play golf.
Just buy what you can afford and be happy that you have something you like.

I Agree. Nice words Bro.
I had 9 cheaper basses and I was happy and I just got a bass of my dream TRB JP2. And I'm still happy.
I sold 4 basses to get the TRB.
I'm planning to sell 2 or 3 more to get a better 5 string.
I had a peavey 15 amp for years, now i have Barefaced big twin and markbass sd 1200.
If you want to do collection you need to have extra money, but for good equipment you need persistence and patience and you get there.
