I have 3...A cheap,fretted Carvin B4....A nice Carvin fretless XB75PF...and the one and only violin-shaped Wendler fretless..(for my upright sound.) I always gig with 2 of the 3,usually both fretlesses.(I used to be scared of fretlesses...but now I'm a "BELIEVER"....I LOVE the tone.

I have 3 basses right now, but I'm trying to sell the Yamaha BB614. I don't need it now that I have an authentic Fender J-Bass in my arsenal.

A '73 Rickenbacker 4001
A Palm Bay Atlantic 4 string (unknown year - never seen another one except on the internet)
A '94 Patrick Eggle Milan 5 String (which I had defretted and fitted with EMG's)
A 2003 Squier Precision 5 String -Cheapy backup 5 string
A Crafter Acoustic 4 String - for late night practise and 'unplugged' gigs
Oh and six if you count the beaten up Squier P-bass I bought for my son and which he has abandoned. It currently has no strings or pickguard, but I have a plan revolving around a spare Badass II bridge I have laying around, a Di Marzio PU and a set of flats (all my other basses wear roundwounds)

I only have one bass, for now. It's a Schecter Omen-4.

i got 10 basses and i could never sell any of them. the bass i like the least is the one i started to play on, so again i'd never sell it.
most of them fender style instruments... a 72 jazz, two (great!) tkoai hardpunchers, a fender precision from 93, a 72 ibanez jazz bass replica, a lakland 55-94, a marleaux consat custom tuned E to C, a stingray 5 fretess, a 'Paul Zagler' custom built jazz bass and a hoyer semiacoustic bass from 66.

2.1975 Fender Precision bass (i've owned this for 15 years)
3.1976 Gibson Ripper (ebony) (my current main bass)
4.1977 Gibson G3 (my main bass from 2000-2003)
5.1978 Peavy T-40 (i use this in my new side project)
6.198? Squier Precision bass (my first bass,lots of mods)
7.198? Vantage Flying V (short scale w/ split P pup)
8.1992 Gibson Les Paul bass (LPB1)(my current #2)

I would love more basses.i really,really want a Ric.and 2 Fender Tele basses one single coil,one w/ humbucker.maybe something hollow.or a Mosrite bass.or a T-bird.or an EB3L,or a jazz bass,a Kramer aluminum neck etc,etc,etc.......

Just 2 at the mo- Vantage VX795B with a broken bridge pickup, and a Traben Neo Standard. Hopefully I'll have a Sting Ray soon though.
I've got a Dean ML, an OLP MM2, and a bad Crate starter bass. The Dean is my favorite just because the fretboard plays like nothing else. It's great. The MM2 has the pickups from the crappy Crate in it which gives it a crazy natural distortion which sound sweet in Drop D. The Crate i gotta keep because of straight sentimental value.
