How many basses do you own, total?

Five-and-a-half.

Well, I've got five basses (two 4-strings, a fretless 5-string, a 6-string, and an 8-string) but I also have almost enough parts to build up a sixth bass. Currently in the planning stages of getting that project going.

I also own five guitars, do they count?

As for why, I'm going with the basses are to me what shoes, jewelry & Longaberger baskets are to her!
