How many basses this Year?

I traded an old but well kept Schecter MIA fretless 4 for a used but in excellent shape Fender American Deluxe 4 and also purchased a new Fender American Standard P5.

I admit I was tempted on a few occasions, but told myself I don't need anymore basses.

All I bought this year was about 8 sets of strings and a cover for my GK MB115 amp.

Years run together, but here's a rough list of 2013's finds...
- 51 P-bass reissue 1990 MIJ
- Music Man Classic in sonic blue 2010 or 11
- MIA Deluxe Jazz V in white 2012
- Squier Vista Musicmaster in shell pink
- Fleabass JR

A few others have come and gone in that period too.
Up to 12 or 13 now I think. Holding steady until I find a good Ric, and that's IT.

Just one this year. Traded a Peavey Millineum BXP for a '84 Peavey Patriot. But, earliy next year I plan on picking up, and probably getting a hernia, a Peavey T-40

Bought my first bass this year. A Squire affinity P bass that I picked up from a pawn shop early this year for 70 Bucks. I picked up a used peavy 15W amp for 30 to go along with it. Then later in the year when I moved to college I bought an acoustic dean exotica to go with me; so that my roommates wouldn't hate me.

Sold my Dark Starred Tribute JB-2 and bought a Dingwall Super J5 and Super P4.

Current lineup: '85 Squier (basswood/maple/rosewood) medium scale precision, alder/maple/morado four-string Super J/P, ash/maple five-string Super J/P, ash/maple/morado Super J/J. The new Sonic Blue ash/maple Super P4 should ship from Saskatoon sometime this month.

Bought: Dingwall Super J-5 (going fretless), Dingwall Super J-5 (converted to P/J), Puma 900, 2 Baer ML-112's.

Done!

I bought 2 basses at different yard sales this year. One is a Takamine Jazmine AEB and the other is a Hondo II Professional that is a S.D. Curlee copy. I'm going to sell the Takamine at some point because it doesn't really fit me but I have been fixing up the Hondo and will put that one into the rotation.
