How many frets does your bass have?

Asking about number of frets is confusing for fretless players. Instead, we should ask the interval possible for a given string. If you have a fretless, can one string cover 2 octaves? Or how much? 20 frets is one octave plus a #5, 21 frets is 1 octave and a 6th.

I have 22 on mine. I think the lowest number I would prefer is 21 I think having that high E available sort of rounds of the range of the instrument nicely.
