Over 130. I'm in a professionally contracted and promoted Wedding/Corporate/Holiday/Private Event Party band. Did a couple big name jobs this year actually. Traveled a bit too.
I don't really know actually...a bunch here and there, couple tours, etc.
During the summer I play for tourists at Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco, so that can be 3 - 5 times a week.
My other bands play much less, but still have bursts, so it may be close to 100, but I don't really keep track.
Probably more like 75.
I dunno. I'd have to ask my girlfriend, but then it might lead to her telling me to quit one of the bands again...
Since my last band dissolved a year ago, my gig playing was diminished this year due to forming a new band along with doing fill in gigs; so, I should have a total of about 34 gigs this year.
Several years ago, about 50 - 70 a year plus a full-time job, a part-time business, a full-time doctoral student, and a family man. I slowed down intentionally. Was doing covers. Now doing originals. Smaller audiences. Less $$. Much happier.
56, not including jams and rehearsals. Slow year, down from 75 or so last year. We dropped a low-playing client because it was too much for a couple of the guys to drive.
Haven't counted, but at least 104+, as we've been booked every Friday and Saturday (for the past 2.5 years+), plus some gigs during the week occasionally.
Well tally up 4 for me. Wish it was more. Though I just had my first gig in May, so I'm still pretty new to everything. Would definitely like to get it to the 30-40 range
Probably around 80+
Maybe slightly less. Some of ours are 4 nighters Wed thru Sat, so 6 of those during the year = 24 gigs. The rest are mostly double-headers Fri/Sat with the occasional weekend off. Just a busy weekend warrior.. got a full-time job.
2015 will change some as our lead vocalist got "promoted" at work, and now has to work one weekend a month, EVERY month. Other than February, we're pretty booked thru May, and have had to turn down gigs already. Nice problem to have tho'!
UPDATE: oops.. Left out church gigs.. and I do at least 2 a month.. I did 6 in a row in July/Aug so add another 15 + ??.. LOL
