Wow, Retro -Turbo-encabulator!I prefer vintage gear. It's a little bigger and harder to move, but you can't get the right wavelengths without it.

Quite right - true vintage lovers would use candles - hand made - individually wax-potted, one bassist pours the wax whilst a second holds the wick steady. Same team of two then trim all the wicks for perfect tuning.Irrelevant.

True. However, the GE bulb road wears better and holds it's light longer.You know, you put a standard shade on your bulb and I dare anybody to be able to tell the difference between a vintage GE bulb and one from Dollar General....
