How much does everyone drink during shows and jams?

Just wondering how much do people usually consume alcohol during shows or whenever playing.
I'm mainly having a couple before a show or enough to get me going and more depending on how its going.
How do everyone else feel about this? And how do you guys go about it

I LOVE drinking. Really. But shows? Maybe one beer. Mostly none. Lots of water.
Rehearsals? None. Lots of water.
Home after a gig? Large whisky/whiskey and a cheese sandwich.
Home after rehearsal? Maybe a glass of wine.

Haven't partaken in many years. If I get stoned I can't hear pitch very well, and get all jittery.
Not me, I lock in like a hooker on meth. And your brain "learns" while you are high so if you practice high, you will also likely play a show just fine. I love it.
I know a guy who smokes ON STAGE. He's mastered some sort of whip around with the bass where the body covers his head while he's turned around, takes a rip and keeps going.

3 or 4 beers at a laid back bar gig. Not nearly enough to even get a buzz.

I have on occassion done a shot during a break if an audience member bought it.

Edit: Never ever at a corporate or wedding gig. And never ever if I'm a hired gun fill in playing with pros.

But if it's a local bar gig with some pals I'll throw back a few and not get all self righteous about it.

Never at rehearsal with the band, it's difficult enough to get us all in place, so the time has to be productive - afterwards, sometimes one beer. Never, ever at a show, I'm getting paid (well), so drinking alcohol on the job isn't something I'd ever consider, I usually drink 3 quarts of Gatorade for an evening's work - Maybe a Scotch or a beer after the show.

Water, tonic water, lemonade if it's real, coffee, iced coffee. Might have a beer/cider when I get home, not going to drink and drive, if by some miracle I didn't have to drive, I'm not thinking that drinking will make me play better. Staying hydrated and/or awake, however, is a good thing.

If you perceive a need to look like you are drinking booze for the fans, be sure to insist on a lime wedge in the tonic water (or coke, if you drink that stuff.) Looks exactly like a vodka and tonic or a gin and tonic...
