How much does everyone drink during shows and jams?

At gigs I will usually have one beer per set. And most likely a shot of tequila with my percussionist before we start.
Not very often at rehearsal. Definitely no pot. Because I can't remember anything when I smoke.
I go to an open mic every Thursday. That's my fun night, and I get hammered. Lots of tequila, and lot's of pot.

Not me, I lock in like a hooker on meth. And your brain "learns" while you are high so if you practice high, you will also likely play a show just fine. I love it.

Lol. I know a lot of guys that THINK they play better stoned. A lot of guys. Interestingly, I know NO guys that actually play better stoned. Go figure.

For a bar gig, I'll have no more that one drink per set. Three drinks over a 5-7 hour period doesn't even register in my system. For corporate gigs (typically high dollar), None.

The rule in my band is, keep it well below your limit. "Limit" being the point where you start to get a little sloppy with your playing, personal behaviors, social interactions, etc. Adults, and everyone in my band, know exactly what this means. We never have a problem.

Frankly, I'm so busy prior, during, and between sets, that I'm lucky to get two beers down my throat in a four-five hour period. Between set up, equipment adjustments, meet and greets, rubbing elbows, and moving from song to song lickety split, there is no time for guzzling. I'd rather drink water and keep my voice hydrated.

Only maybe 1 or 2 during rehearsal (often none at all). On stage is a different story. My skills follow the Ballmer Peak xkcd: Ballmer Peak pretty closely. I'm very good at getting to that sweet spot where I become an actual musical god on stage. And then I foolishly take another sip and fall of a cliff. Sometimes literally. But for those brief moments everybody in the audience experiences musical nirvana and total awareness through my playing.

I imagine the answers will vary depending on the type of band. I'd wager a lot of the guys/gals in working cover/tribute bands, or more popular originals bands, are drinking much less if at all during gigs. Considering the usually longer sets, and a financial necessity to be more professional, it's probably a wise choice not to get too crazy.

I have filled in for a friends band a few times here and there, and in those situations, I don't drink at all until the rock has commenced.

In my own band though, I'll have a few beers. I used to drink quite a lot at gigs both before and after playing, but I've wised up a bit in the past few years and realized that at least for me, there's a point of no return when it comes to my playing ability and alcohol. Once I go past that, I'm the most useless guitar player in the room. I make an effort to not hit that point any more.

At home practicing-nothing
When jamming... I only fill my flask one time (3/4 pint)with Fireball whiskey...that's my limit.
My daughter and grands buys a case of beer and ice for the guys. They don't hang around, they drop it off.
The other guys provide all the food and anything else deem necessary once every couple months or so.
