I was 5 years old playing for the local Philippino club on slack key guitar. I was pretty much a trained monkey though.

My first real gig came at 14 with my Sabbath/Maiden/Scorpions cover band. We used to get some good gigs for a bunch of kids.

Not too long ago. I was about 18 or 19 (22 going on 23 now) ...

it was a 24 hour laundry mat BAR . Pretty cool. it was down somewhere near south beach (miami). We played all night (9pm - 2 am) for basically free tab and 20 bucks.

amazing experience. having people just keep bringing me beers and telling us to keep jamming was awesome. Some sexy latina came and smoked some joints with us, then offered us some coke and if we wanted to goto the strip club .... crazy night.
