How Short Is It?

It's actually pretty common for a normal short scale bass to fit in a guitar case. My Danelectro Longhorn; my Epiphone EA-260; and my Warmoth Mini-Precision Bass are all living quite snugly in guitar cases. As long as there's 30-30.5" between the nut and bridge saddles, it's all good. And yes, if the scale length is less than 30" (and 28" seems pretty standard in that case), "Sub short scale" is the usual term...;)
