For the record, the only time I ever make tall people jokes is when I get the short jokes first...

Walking around at Bass Day blows that theory out of the water. Vic Wooten, Scott Ambush, Mark Egan, Anthony Jackson, Michael Manring, Matt Garrison, etc. ... most of the current crop of bass monsters aren't big at all.

5' 2.5" and no way in hell am I telling you how much I weigh. :p

I like being short, though...it makes a lot o' guys so nice and tall. :D Only bad thing... I gotta keep askin' my brother to get crap down from the top shelf all the friggin' time. :(

Did I mention being short made a lot o' guys tall?

;)

"every mornin' at the mine you could see him arrive
he stood 6 foot 6 and weighed 245
kinda broad at the shoulders and narra at the hip
and every body knew you didn't give no lip
to big john"

("Big John" - Jimmy Dean...yes, I have this on 45!)

On 45??? WOW. I love that song... My dad always sings it when he gets drunk.

"...a crashin' blow from a huge right hand
sent a louisiana man to the promised land..."

I know it because my dad used to play it when I was VERY little. I remembered it recently and found it in the loft :)

Do you know a song called "Sixteen Tons" by Tenessee Ernie Ford? I have that on 45 too and it's even older...originally released in 1948! I doubt 45s were around then though, so this must be a re-issue...they only had 78s back in '48 didn't they?

I don't think I have seen/heard of one girl/woman who willingly gave away their weight. This is while most boys/men I've seen/heard of don't have any problems with this at all. Why is that? Why is weight such a touchy subject to women? Please enlighten a stupid male!

I'm 5'10, and 220, built like brick house. Not muscle, unfortunately. Not fat, just big. The BC crew (see that Group Shot Mark took of the BC TB meeting) can vouch for the fact that I'm what a lot of people would call a thug. Thug as a physical description...yeah, that about does it.

Thug, in the mobster sense, not gangsta sense, BTW.

Hey, nobody ever tries to mess with me, which is an upside.

I be 6'3, 157 pounds and 15 so I'm still growing. 157 is a little scrawny, but one of these days I'm gonna turn it all into muscle :D, my brother's 6'5 and 200 something, my dad used to be 6'7, but he miniturized and is now 6'5, they both played b-ball and were pretty good (dad had a college scholarship), but I got NO sports talent.
