How To Fire a Band Member

I still prefer 'exasurbate' better.

If I got it wrong I still like it better - especially now that it appears 'exasurbate' is my own coinage and definition. :p
Except that "exasurbate" is a homonym of "exacerbate" so no one will discern the difference in the spoken word. Besides, the joke is lost if you just say the same word with a different spelling. I think maybe you're missing the joke.

Trust me, I got the joke. Did you maybe not get mine?

(Note: 'exasurbate' (as in: ex-as-soor-bate) is not a homonym of 'exacerbate' (as in: ex-as-ŭr-bate)...or at least not to my ears.) :)

Sorry, I was editing my original post while you were replying to it. Apologies. It's sometimes hard for me to avoid hitting that post button unintentionally when I'm typing on an iPhone and trying to scroll up to do an edit.

Um...if this is a competition (I didn't know it was btw) then absolutely. You win! Yay!:thumbsup::laugh:
Congratulations to me! YAY!
