I used to routinely move an Acoustic 370 and two 18” 301 cabinets along with two Altec A7 PA cabinets.
One night after loading up for a gig, the singer called and said they canceled the gig; unload the truck and we will have band practice instead.
I put the truck in gear and never went back.![]()

I gigged with an ampeg 810 for like 15 years. Never went up or down steps with it by myself. Always had at least two of us to handle stairs.For the steps. If you are trying to drag that thing up and down steps without a dolly with large wheels or stair gliders you end up tearing up the cabinet and the steps.
