How's the balance on a Warwick bass?

I had a Thumb 5 neck-through and it was horribly neck heavy. Didn't sound that great either. My Thumb 4 bolt-on is a bit neck heavy, but it's manageable (it also sounds a lot better to me than the NT 5). The Streamer Stage I 4 string (which I've also owned) is a very well-balanced bass, though I still prefer the sound of the Thumb bolt-on. I don't imagine the Corvette would be a problem in terms of neck-dive (due to the length of the upper horn), but they are quite heavy instruments - your shoulder might hate you in the morning.
