HUGE TRADE GONE BAD

The fact that "Mick" is so quick to jump on this - I suspect - is because Mick was already prepared with the alibi. They probably do this routinely - all of them. Further investigation would probably lead to a number of guitarists have also been fleeced on some of the other gear sites around the web.

Why take the time to recruit and prepare someone for your internet defense when you can just do it yourself?

Mick, would you like me to forward you the PM Evan sent me when I contacted him to advise him it would be best to right things quickly where he admitted this has happened three times? (not to mention the scam attempts quick witted members avoided).

Assuming that this "Mick" is really the bandmate, it's potentially not an issue of recruitment. I propose that they all operate in the same way and that they are all prepared to back each other up. Of course I'm speculating. I don't know them.

A member of my family is this type of person, sad to say. It's heartbreaking. However, I notice that he finds the people who act and think like him. You've heard the expression "thick as thieves" before?

The Fed's will crucify this cat and anyone associated with him. If i was this guy, i would do a Blues Brothers and drive all night to get this bass back. Plenty of pics, paper and electronic footprints. That's promotion candy for some agent's.

^^^^ I'd have to agree.

Evan, looks like it's time for a new line of work. Face it, you're no good at this. It took an online bass community less then 1 hour to "crack the case wide open." Just think what a trained investigator could do with all the tools available to them.

A word of advise . . . If/when you're "on the inside", you would do best to focus on the rehabilitation and education opportunities offered to you, and avoid your peers who try and offer advise to make you a better criminal. It would be nice if my federal tax dollars only had to pay to rehabilitate you only one time.;)
