Human Gear ANIMATO

What the hell does the switch do? I played with it for about 15 mins just flipping it back and forth. It sounded like maybe MAYBE the left side had a touch more resonance (re: ringing, looseness). I even tried it with the guitar to see if it was a frequency thing...

Anyone know?

I really really don't know! I did the same thing as you and I was like..... man what does this switch is doing...

(My serial number is 294. I think they stop the production at 300). The instruction are not in english..

there is really no concrete evidence that you will find. Trust me. I searched the internet harder than a crack head looking for a fix.

Most sites show broken english translated, or featurea sales pitch. The amount of information you will find is here, and most of it is from Me, Toasted, Grygrx and a few others.

It is like searching for the Deep Impact settings Wolstenholme used for Hysteria... You think you can find it, but it is really a Unicorn.

The closest I got to that was hearing from Manson that he did use it...

Back on topic... When I ordered mine, Ishibashi stated it was chipped (the paint) and they could order me a new one... Not sure if they ment a NEW one or another one...

Regardless, I took it ASAP, in the hopes that I would finally get mine. It came, and it is my favorite pedal.

My advice to anyone looking to buy one... Find it now, and spend the cash. Worst case, you have to sell it, but can do so for a profit. This is another interesting pedal that gains value with every use.

+1

This is my favourite pedal too. Even if it is at the opposite of the sparkle drive , I'm doing all the stuff that I was doing with the sparkle drive with the animato. If you find one, grab it. It worth the 340$.

BTW kaput, what are some great pedal combination that I can make with the animato? I know the oc2 mix but is there some others combination that sound great?

I am actually working on the clips you request...

I am thinking of potentailly putting some together with real world uses, rather than noodleing...

Like me on the left and Chris Wolstenholme on the right to show what this pedal does in this form... Or whatever.

As for the combos... I have used it with the OC-2 in front of it... Blended with the Deep Impact through an LS-2 and also, at low gain, to overdrive the Woolly Mammoth....

Filters work and others too, but this pedal is very harsh and very in your face... It let's itself be known when it is on... All the time.

Disuto very comfortable with the distortion - the application. Anima - cart is wild, and Sum - Size also. In other words, a very wide tunable range can be adapted to many songs. However, this is very high in C to develop - not dollars. Highest C - dollar cart - the attack and the beauty of the icon (outline) of Disuto firm - would be whether the application. What Disuto - that will be most interesting to you that it really Shon, put it simply, comfortably, that are summarized That keeps us interested. Usually, rats are said to distortion (OLD) is a good cart but have a distortion - the icon becomes thinner. Also, many are found in muddy distortion, distortion unlistenable collapsed to a pulp, and these Anima - cart is irrelevant. Of course, at some point things like this that demonstrate the power that is not ideal. Anima - I asked if the cart is a unique NO. However, this cart - Disuto icon is ideal for me - the application. Widely variable range attack came about, Voryu the guitar - to ensure the system response. Sum - Te Size - Padres -, Voryu - Sum than if using the system - a Intone Size - You can click on the application. Disuto - contour and texture but also as used in flat metallic Shon is not lost, which can be rented without送Ridasu distortion power amplifier with a pitch

So.... Yeah, I'm gonna email this to my translator friend & I'll get a translation up that makes sense ASAP.

My friend just told me:
it's not the instruction manual portion... this is explaining this guy's personal feelings of how the sound comes out.. and what sort of sound comes out of this devise... how it's tone is "animart" (no idea what that means ... maybe makes sense musically?)... how it is distorts some tones very high but that's how he likes it .. uh huh uh huh... (ok... that was my own editing)

it doesn't talk at all about how to use this device.

sorry

i swear i heard a bit more bass when that switch was to the left.

Is it worth the price for what it is? well from what i've heard - not in my opinion. It does sound like a great pedal, especially the harmonic content of the disortion, but i was kinda expecting a little more. Obviously i've never tried it, or heard it in person, maybe if i did then i would love it more.
