Forrest Gallien advised this to bypass the preamp in a thread here about a year ago.
Some adapters are pretty flimsy though.
I got a heavy duty looking one from Crutchfield.

HX Stomp into GK MB112 II ??

I have a nice heavy duty one as well. Perfect 
So got to try out the new Stomp this weekend for two rehearsals with different groups. I did not really have time to mess with the HX stomp before showing up to play so I just went with an SVT preset. For the first rehearsal I went from the HX stomp into the headphone jack as suggested, but for the second rehearsal I forgot that cord, so I went directly into the input. While both of them sound good, I have to say that I like the sound going through the input rather than the headphone. Jack slightly more. I guess whatever color the amp in the GK was bringing I was enjoying I'm very happy with this precious and I am super excited to explore the realms of possibility it offers . Just fun to get out there and play some bass !!
