In Europe fuel prices and taxes vary per country. In Germany (our neighbors) gas is about $0.22 cheaper per gallon; in Spain they pay about $0.70 less than we do.$5 Canadian for one Imperial

Yeah - that’s rough in Europe. I once spent $1000 CAD in fuel on day trip from southern England to Scotland and back (in 24 hours).
Conversely, I was driving an F150 in New Jersey earlier this fall. Cost me same to fill that up as it does my Subaru here at home.
Still 7 years to go till I retire. Then I'll sell my way too expensive house and move to a country with fair prices and taxes... and a lot of sun.
