Love MXR.

I personally use the BOD, Envelope Filter, Bass Chorus Deluxe, and Bass Compressor. I might end up ditching the filter for something else, though.

I just purchased an MXR M288 Octave Deluxe, and for some reason I cannot get a clear tone when using the pedal with an 'active' bass. The sound gets very distorted, no octave just distortion. MXR tech support said the active basses were over driving the effect circuitry of the M288, wish they would have published this prior to me spending $150.00. All my basses are active, I can play them in passive (except MTD) but loose lots of tone. Pedal works/sounds good until either Girth or Growl is added to the signal, then it sounds like crap...

*Edit - did a search and this pedal gets no love on TB due to it's weak fuzz tone.

I just got this, and I'm sort of half trying to sell it because the 'main fuzz' is not exactly my flavor, BUT, I am also REALLY digging it so far just using the suboctave (unfuzzed) with the octave-up dirt - basically both footswitches on, but the "sub-into-fuzz" button disengaged. It's like an Octron or T65 with a footswitchable dirty up-octave. Hidden gem, really!!!

While browsing the used gear on GC's site, I spotted a MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe in great shape for like half price. It's now on its way for some A/B against my EHX Bass Clone.

Well i have been wanting a chorus and been reading up on the chorus deluxe ,,,so thanks to my brothers here and this thread....i just got pushed off the cliff and i am gonna get one..that will sit next to my comp,,,which is also an mxr ...lmao!

I like MXR/Dunlop ... maybe not the most exiting pedals out there but very solid products. The envelope filter did not speak to me, I prefer the fatter low-pass type, but I do have a couple of other pedals.

I really like the Bass Chorus Deluxe. I use it even with guitar, over the Analog Chorus pedal.

+1...this absolutely nails it for me and is why I think many folks find MXR/Dunlop to be a great value play if the feature set is what you're looking for.
