I can't stand grocery store lines anymore

That would be the correct route...I'm more interested in "quiet". Personally, I think they should be barred from the stores....service dogs, okay. That being said, I do appreciate witnessing a full blown melt-down on occasion.

Until recently I always hated being around a screaming, crying kid. Now when it happens I think to myself, or, possibly, out loud: I feel that way much too often. Too bad society frowns on that.

When I see that, I just think "Been there, done that". I've dragged all three of my screaming kids from stores and restaurants.

Nobody shops with kids because they want to.
 
Which brings up another one:
The mother who allows her kid to open a bag of snacks in the supermarket and eat it before paying for it.
I don't know exactly why, but the encouraging of instant gratification really irks me! It's not yours until you PAY FOR IT!!!!
