I got tired of practicing songs I am learning for our setlist, and mind you, for the most part, I am a 5 string player, but I started noodling around on the 4 string jazz.

I found a drum loop that i could work with, and just sort of locked in, started walking to "this or that sounds right" until I just found the groove I wanted, but something, was missing....

Before I knew it, I had the 5 string off the wall, and spent the rest of my practice time just sort of walking around the low end with the low B giving me what I was looking for...

You can expect a visit from Phil, the Prince of Insufficient Light, some time soon. He will probably darn you to Heck; maybe a couple of hours locked in a practice room with a very egotistical keyboard player...

I'm having trouble following when you switched from the 5 string to the 5 string.

Typo. Started out on the 4 string Squier Jazz, ended up on the 5 string SX Ursa 2... Just kind of hit it in the pocket and went with it... Not sure if it makes sense, I usually don't dig playing my 5, but this just sounded and felt right...
