I don't really get/like metal...

I'm sorry that metal doesn't really get you.

I have not yet discovered a metal I'm all THAT into. I'll admit, I'm a fan of some metal drummers though. Once cookie monster came in with the vocals @ 2:00 I stopped the video.

 

Psst. There's more out there than death metal.

 

@glocke1 When you begin a thread with “I don’t like or hate _______” you are going to offend anyone who likes that. This is usually interpreted as a troll post, because it incites retaliation rather than constructive commentary.

I heard there's a new Winger record coming out too... can't wait for that juicy metal to be released.

My guess is that in every era there is some musical genre that doesn't appeal to some.

When I was much, much younger the baroque stuff never did a thing for me. Now.....get off my lawn.

 

I like symphonic--Therion in particular.

 

There's a crapton of bad death metal out there but plenty that's good too.

 

Well... I'm (not exclusively) a massive metal-head - the OP didn't offend me, I read it as: this isn't my thing, but this guy is cool... and even though I'm not a fan of that band, it's nice to hear/read.

So OP, have some more cool metal drummers
