that bass looks bad ass as hell man! the longer i look at it the more of my favorite bands' stickers i see. also to fix your problem, this isn't for everyone and it might not look good, but try seeing what it looks like with cream pickup covers

bass, and you won't have the horror of looking at that ugliness anymore.

My favorite feeling, sounding, playing bass is the one thing that makes my stomach turn.....sunburst.
Good! Beautiful!
Gorgeous!!So theres a shop in Poland I think it is that had a burst JB for sale awhile back..I guess the guy buys used basses and refinishes them and he does an amazing burst. I thought a lot about this bass when it was for sale...A couple of times it ended up in my cart at Reverb but I never went through with it.
If I had the money to burn I'd be tempted to buy a bass and ship it over to him to refinish.

Is that an Ibanez bass? If so, I have the exact same one lefty.
My favorite feeling, sounding, playing bass is the one thing that makes my stomach turn.....sunburst. I've had it for 12 years. Gigged it everywhere. I keep one bass in my living room to just noodle around on when watching TV or if I have 5 minutes waiting for my wife or whatever it maybe. It's the only one I own that makes me cringe when I walk by. I'm probably not gonna do anything about it. I'm afraid to change bodies or even have it refinned because I love the sound that much. I just wanted to complain!View attachment 3112347

Thanks dude. I still add to it from time to time. Just saw the descendants last Friday and I have figure out where that sticker should land. I also have a case for my head that I've started putting stickers on. Maybe she lands there.that bass looks bad ass as hell man! the longer i look at it the more of my favorite bands' stickers i see. also to fix your problem, this isn't for everyone and it might not look good, but try seeing what it looks like with cream pickup covers
Well we agree there. Black basses are not my get up. I love passed good deal because a bass was blackDo you know what color it is when you play it? I don't. The way I see it, I get to enjoy how it plays and sounds - the color is for people people watching. Except, of course black. I hate black basses.
I'd never sell. Ive made a bunch of mods and we all know how that goes with resale. And I'm rather attached to it. That's the wierd part about it all. I hate it. But I love it.You've played the bass for this long and managed. A refin will hurt resale value. If it's your forever bass, re-paint. If not, consider selling. A nice sunburst is about the easiest sale there is.

I wouldn't really sticker it up. It's either paint it and leave it. I've thought about a replacement body. But I could also sink that money into a new head. Some pedals. A cheap 5 string. That's the big hold upIn that case, why half@_--"_ it with stickers? Pick your color, and make it exactly how you want it.
