I hate this place

I hate this place every time I come in here to pick up some strings. I try a guitar I can’t do without. Is there any help? Therapy? 1-, 800 number to call? Link Removed

There's a cure - start writing music that makes you stretch yourself technically and theoretically and then start performing it. You'll realize pretty quickly that the instrument plays little to no role in that process, and that switching all the time is an active impediment to performing your music because it's hard to interpret things on a bass you aren't totally 100% familiar and comfortable with.

What is the issue with Seattle Guitar Centers?
The worst bass selection, not to mention the condition of what inventory is available. I found them utterly depressing after enjoying the late 90s/early 00s heyday. The downtown GC was a crack den for me in those days. Thankfully there are still a couple of alternatives, though nothing like Bass Northwest.

I don't have this issue because the bass selection in both of my local GCs pretty much sucks. One will get some interesting used models occasionally, but they are either 15 feet off the floor and no one's around to get them down for me or they can't be sold for 30 days, by which time my GAS passes. I mean, goes away.
