So I pulled out my Les Paul to clean and oil the fretboard only to discover that the poly on the headstock has gone kaput!
It's not like it's a mint '59 Les Paul Standard but it still makes me very sad. It's a '94 that I picked up for a song in '96 as it had a cracked neck that was poorly repaired. The neck has been rock solid for the nearly 20 years that I've owned it and I did a little modification to it a couple years ago.
I guess it's now officially 'road worn!'
