Anyway, wrt your original question, you need at least 500 watts, and I'd suggest a 410 as minimum cabbage. I've long held the opinion that you're better off buying the highest quality gear you can afford. You know, "buy once, cry once." Used Eden WT-550 is an excellent head. That with a decent cab will blow you out of your current budget, so your idea to save a little longer is a good one. Good luck on putting the singing together with your playing.
