OK, it seems like Pink and Black is the winner. I should have all the parts in 2 days, then start painting etc. I will start another thread and take pictures of the whole process...

btw I'm just gonna make 2 pickguards, one in black, one checked

Odd, at first I thought, none of the above, but actually the pink/black looks awesome. Very manly, for a pink bass.

Yeah, white is too much Very 60's look though, more so than black.

But I'd go with maple fretboard though, with light colour. How about translucent as well, if you get a nice ash body.
