It's too hot to do much outside, I've been itching for a new project to get me through the summer. Local searching for some old beater to rescue haven't proven fruitful.
What the hell, I just ordered a Glarry precision in natural 'Burly Wood' (ha - basswood, probably), 34". All in $93 from Amazon (dead simple return policy).
Hell, if the neck is straight, it's worth that. And yes, I know it's gonna be chunkier than my two modern C necks.
It'll be fun to mess with for awhile. I will have to paint the pickguard, for sure. Apparently it's not a standard size.
