I know everyone hates the TC Electronic RH450...

Your TC rig looks absolutely yummy (and your pedalboard is causing drool, but that's another topic :)) ... if I were to buy new amplification TC would be at the top of my list of possibles. I too don't care about the numbers, if it sounds good and is loud enough it does the job. I don't need a gazillion Watts, I just want good sound at reasonable volumes on stage, in a compact package. The PA should handle the FOH sound in big venues, not the backline. In small to medium size room I'm sure this rig is plenty loud.

I missed this! I don't have a MOJO pedal on there. The only TC pedal I have is the PolyTune and I took that off because I have the same thing in the RH450 and the RC4 foot switch that's sitting on my RS212 in this picture. TC started with effects and rack studio equipment. That's why they have such good sound. They've been at it for a long time.

Oh! I think I saw the Mojo. There is a brown burgundy box that could have been the Mojo. Sorry about that. Yep, the polytune seemed interesting, but since I have the RH450, and I find it picks the note very quickly, and the 'high res' display in mute is very helpful too, I do not feel the urge to invest in that one.

Thanks anyway to have taken the time to answer to my question :-).

I love the my rh750 and rs212+rs210 stack. The rs212 has a bit more muscle in its tone, the rs210 is a bit snappier and together they're great. The rh750 is loud as hell regardless of the measured wattage. Great combination of features too. I especially like the onboard tuner that shows up in the footswitch.

Just got an RH450 this week from TB classifieds.
I like the feature set of the head and initially sounds good.
Headphone amp is nice.
Need to gig it and start A/B ing with my Eden and my buddies Mesa's for fun.
Will report later with my 2 cents.

I got my RS210 a few days ago, and with the RH450, they make a great combo. I now do think I have enough headroom for rehearsal ;-). I wonder if putting the RS210 up on something would be detrimental or good for the sound. What can be expected from this? Any benefit from these foam base kindo stuff?

I added a second BC212. The RH450 handles the stack great!

I owned a RS210 in 2010 and did not like the cab at all. To my ears it's a very flashy, boomy and non natural sounding cab.
The cab is very flattering to the ears at first but it gets tiring fast for the same reason it's kind of flattering: lack of balance.
I took a bloodbath on the resell as well. There is so little demand for these cabs that they don't hold their value well.
I like their heads but the cabs are not my cup of tea. I would recommend to anybody intending to buy one, playing it for an extended period of time.
Any new cab sounds really good for 20 minutes in a store. Just the fact that it's new to our ears turns it into candy.

I just ordered a RH 450. I didn't order a cab yet. is there any suggestions you have for a good cab to run with the RH450?

I have a rs210 and rs212. If it weren't so much heavier and bigger I'd have 2x 212s. If you have any cabinets you really like already, they will most likely be great with the amp. I doubt there is any magic in pairing TC cabs with their amps. What do you have now? Since the head is small and light it's easy to take to stores to test with different cabs. What someone else loves, you may not. Try as many as you can and choose what you like best.

And conversely, you may love what someone else doesn't.

If circumstances force you to rely on online opinions, I'd recommend that you search as broadly as possible and take into account specific reviews and especially direct comparisons (Bass Gear Magazine and other sources of online reviews). On the forum, I think it helps to look for opinions from members who have spent some time reviewing and comparing gear, like KJung.

It's just something that I've personally come to believe, but I think while most every cabinet is potentially going to get some criticism from someone, the great majority of commercially successful cabinets that meet the needed specs will find a happy home with most of us. Not to discount @Laurent 's criticisms, I think most complaints (beyond basic issues like being "farty" or "boomy") are rather esoteric in terms of their appreciation. And even basic complaints have a lot to do with EQ and the other gear being used...how it's being used...and for what.

Again, not to take anything away from Laurent's experience with the RS210, I don't believe I've heard the criticisms of boomy, unnatural, or unbalanced given to it, so if I were looking for opinions, I'd take those as outliers. I don't know what "flashy" means in terms of describing sound. But I think that further highlights how subjective this is.
