I love meat.

I'm on my second steak right now, slathered in Heinz 57. Got some grilled potatoes on the side. No need for anything else!

Oh man... Heinz 57 is the lifeblood. I've loved that stuff since I was a kid. A nice medium well steak slathered in some 57? Baby, that's nirvana, bar none.

I think I am going to go vegan after reading this thread :spit: 72 oz steak! That is obscene. Everyone who works for a living and has to fork out 400 bucks a month for health insurance should realize that one major reason is runaway obesity and it's associated diseases.

mmmm...boca burgers... :hmm:

It ain't the meat. Meat is mostly protiens. What kills us is starches and carbohydrates (Atkins "fad" or not). The actual meat, not fat or grisle isn't so bad.

It's a lot of things we eat with meat that gets us all up in a tizzy.

Meat unto itself is relatively benign.

MEAT!

mmmm.. Meat

I had to write a persausive speech for my English class and i wrote about this exact topic. I asked the class how anyone could not like meat. It was great because my class has about 7 vegetarians in it and they hated me after it because i bashed them in the speech. Oh well, it was worth it.

Save a cow, eat a vegetarian!

Man, this is killing me. Do any of you guys listen to Garrison Keillor? One of his stories from Lake Woebegone was all about how he respected hunters because they didn't deny mans carnivorous nature the way so many of us refer to the red fluid that comes out of a rare steak as 'juice.' And somehow from there he got to saying how eating meat must be good for your intelligence because well, just look at sheep. Millions of years of eating grass has not done much for them brains-wise, but there are wolves and mountain lions that could probably apply to law school right now.

And then he starts talking about how, when he goes by the vegetarian restaurants and sees them hunched over their salads, he wonders if he could just go in and snatch one of them away.

I laughed until I stopped.

Mmm...Meat...

I love me some hamburgers, but since mine are covered with mushrooms, cheese, bacon, garlic, and occasionally BBQ sauce I don't eat them too often. All that stuff together's bad for the digesting.

But most any meat is definitely devourable by me...As long as it's double extra well done. Crispy to crunchy at the edges.

Especially brisket, my greatest weakness. At my dad's house for Christmas dinner, there were three prepared briskets, each slightly smaller than a dinner plate and about an inch and a half thick. While everyone else shared the first, I ate the other two. Plus side dishes. Man, that was a good dinner. :D

mmmmm, steak. I had a foreman grill, bvut gave it to my parents, just never had any luck with it. Hamburgers were really chewy, and steaks just tasted like crap on it. I like me gas grill, I am the man with steaks with it.

I saw two deer that went rotten before they could be processed butchered with a chainsaw today, that was nearly enough to make me go vegan though.
