I need a battery powered small amp/spkr

I bought a Jackery 500 portable battery pack five years ago and have used it with my Tone Hammer 500 and LDS 15/6/1 8 ohm cabinet. A four plus hour show and I still had capacity to spare. It was also handy this week when the storm took out power. With the Jackery I had my wife up and working from home with a cell phone hot spot, computer and two screens. If you do get a battery pack, make sure it is true sine wave output. Switch mode power supplies can have issue with dirty power.

If you already have a 10” cab that you like, here’s a modular approach:

Quilter Imterbass 45 plus a power tool battery (you might also already have this) and a 3D printed adaptor available on eBay.

I use this setup for acoustic jams and it works really well.

Light, small and that battery runs for a loooong time.
The quilter intervals is really nice sounding. I hadn’t thought to run it off battery but that’s a great idea.

My Everse 8 is great but if I were buying today I would probably try the QSC CB10 that just came out.
Everse 8 rules. After testing 5 similar amps – Bose, JBL, Mackie and HK, it was the clear winner for bass. I bought it last year primarily for busking with the upright bass, but meanwhile I use it as my allround amp. We also run the vocals and bluesharp through it if there's no other PA handy.

I haven't tried the CB10 yet but just earlier this week I've noticed that my local music store has got it in stock, so I'll make sure to check that out. But having already looked at the specs, I still prefer the Everse 8 for its size, weight, functionality and overall ease of use. The CB10 lacks several "goodies" that I'm using on the Everse quite often, especially the multiple preset and EQ stages are fantastic.
(Fun fact: the Everse 12V power output can power old Boss pedals which would require the "ACA" 9V power supply! So I plugged my DB through my old Touch Wah and it sounded great. :))

Pjb double 4 plus can run off a battery pack and the Traynor bm12mobile has a built in battery.

Comparing the two on battery they are similar in max volume at mid frequencies, but the larger cabinet of the Traynor provides very nice low end and is much more satisfying.

If you just need to be heard on stage and you have the pjb pointed at your head you may be ok. Also would be fine for small acoustic set.

The Traynor is quite nice (you pay for it in weight). 80w on battery is petty good. If you lug a second 4 ohm cab you are close to hanging with a controlled group at 160W. Not a ton of headroom by any means, but beats any other battery option I’ve been able to try.

The nice thing about the Traynor is if you do end up having power you have 300W and with that extra cab you are at 600W which works in almost any situation.

I do exactly this (coincidentally with same Acoustic Image amp even) while camping, at fiddler's conventions. Mine is a purpose-made battery pack that is recharged by a small collapsible bank of solar panels.

It would cost more upfront than a sub-par portable bass amp, but as posted, you'll use it for a hundred other things.

You actually get Sun out there these days? :)
