I Need a MM stingray 5 review ASAP!

Going to be the voice of dissent here :) I wanted to love Stingrays, but could never get a good sound out of any them that I tried (H, HH, whatever) while they were in my hands. Other people make them sound great, but I found them to be bland-sounding and a bit uncomfortable to play. Not my cup o' tea.

I loved my Classic SR5 but I love the versatility of the normal one(but not the ugly PG)..

And I thought it was just me that hated the SR5 pick guard, the one that looks like an ornamental pond. I like the look of the new Classic with the proper tear drop shaped PG.

:hiding:

Love the SR5 (apart from that PG) and would still be gigging it if I hadn't bought a G&L L-2500 Tribute.

Congrats on your purchase...you will NOT regret this after the honeymoon period is over. You'll like it even more once you restring it! For me, what kept happening is I would play someone else's bass, or something in a guitar shop, and all I could think about is how much I like my SR5 better than what I'm currently playing on. :D

Pics or no bass.
