I need a new rig - different specs from past posts

Well, I went ahead and bought the Genz Benz rig. I got the GBE600 head (in a nice little rack, too) with the 2 button channel selecting footswitch and the Neox212 cab.

I had it out on trial this weekend and I was able to dial in a nice sound at 3 different gigs - including an outdoor wedding reception - with no trouble at all. Should be even better after I have some time with it and really work with all the tone shapping options that are available.

I am excited to be off the rig merry-go-round. I know I have said it before, but I think with this rig, I have a really good chance of sticking to it. I have learned to work with one bass, I think I can do the same with the rig. After all, it's not like I'm settling for a piece of junk. It's a GB!

Thanks to everyone for their insight, thoughts, advice and comments.
Very happy for you Steve. I don't think you'll have any problems. Most people seem to buy stuff on a whim and then get GAS over and over again. The way you've thought this through and tried something out, you should be very happy!

I've had my share of "whim" purchases. That's why I wanted to really try this out and talk it through. I think it will be a very versitile rig. The head has a ton of options from different pre amps to all that tone shapping and EQ. If I can't get a good sound from this, I need to quit.
