hey im rebuilding a squier p-bass. ive picked out new pickups already.
    Bassline SPB-2's
    DC Resistance: Bridge 22.4k
    Resonant Peak: Bridge 7.14 KHz
    EQ: 5/6/5 (Treb/Mid/Bass)
    Magnet: Alnico V Rods

What i need to know is wut are the best pots to use to get the most out of these pickups? i need 1 vol and 1 tone. if anyone has suggestions let me know PLEASE.

  2. personally, I'd just go with the old standard pots...

250k audio taper for the volume
250k linear taper for the tone
and use a 0.047uF capacitor on the tone circuit.

your squier probably is loaded with a
250k audio for both volume and tone and either a 0.047uF or a 0.1uF capacitor...nothing wrong with this, if you can deal with the taper on the volume...

If you have to replace the pots get cts or alpha. I would leave them as long as they worked.
