I need some comfy headphones.

I am in process of paring down my studio, and recently got rid of my studio monitors (which I never really liked, anyway). I'm back to using headphones all the time, and my Sennheiser HD 280s are very uncomfortable. I wear glasses, and I have to wear them or else I can't read my computer screen, yet after about 10 minutes of wearing the headphones on top of them my braincase really starts to hurt.

I need some headphones that sound really good that I can wear with glasses. Suggestions?

As a bespectacled bass brother I recommend the AKG K240 Studio headphones. I wear mine for hours--the semi-open earcups are very comfortable and I prefer their sound to all the other cans I tried in the ~$125 range (Sony, Audio Technica, Sennheiser). Also have a replaceable cord and screw-on 1/4" adapter.

I think they may be discontinued--I got mine for $100.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 I love these headphones...some of the most comfortable I have tried...I am currently going to school for audio engineering and wear these cans for extended periods of time 5 days a week

+1 on the BD 770. I've had mine for about a month. I wear them for hours a day and they never get warm, heavy or pinch. Gotta love the velvet lining on the ear cups. And they sound awsome.

DT770's are about the comfiest headphones I've ever used. But I don't mind DT100's or 150's

I dig the AKG K 271 MK II's. Auto-adjusting headband. Turns themselves off when not on your head. Coil/straight cable. Velvet and leatherette ear-pads.

I could wear/listen to them for hours.

My vote is for the Sony MDR-7506. Great phones. $99.99

mdr 7506 sony. dont buy anything else unless u are going for 400$ grado headphones. johnny a / staind
