i can see both sides of the argument ...

i choose the ... don't lie to your wife side! ... cause trust me she may not know ... but she sure as heck will notice something is off EVENTUALLY. may not be now... may not be in 5 years... heck as in my case with something else 8-9 years later... it'll all start coming together.

Could be. I certainly dont have details into everyones relationships, but I'd think thats a pretty poor way to view the reasons behind a womans smile.
My girlfriend and I are constantly smiling, because we make each other laugh.
She could be effing with my head, but I'd prefer to give her the benefit of the doubt and presume it genuine until proven otherwise..
