That's always what happens in these threads.

First, you get insightful replies, then the righteous ones, then the judgmental ones, then a few people will disagree wholeheartedly with some advice and if you had at least one person on either side willing to not let things go, it'll degenerate into a bunch of tangents that are very loosely if not at at all related to the original discussion.
