I think I'll order a Marshall MB450H today..

...and stick it on top of my Marshall 1525 cab. I wish I could play through one first, but no one has them in stock. They are special order only. I realize there are other decent options at this price range ($500) but I've never liked mixing brands for some reason. From what I've read from those who use the MB series, they seem to like them for the most part. Is there anyone with a bad experience as it relates to the 450H head?

I've had mine for about 4 months now and the only downside, if it is one, is that the fan is audible when there's no other sound going on. But that's in my smallish music room when I'm by myself, and once you start playing you wouldn't even know the fan is on.
Depending on the bass I'm using, active vs. passive, and the type of music I'm playing I've found uses for all three of the channels, modern, classic, and blend. Classic still being my favorite. I'm still sorting out all of the sound choices what with all of the pedal options I use, VT bass, English Muff'n, Bad Monkey and all. This afternoon I'll be jamming with a friend that's bringing over a Line 6 half stack so I'll really be able to give it a run through.

It's well priced and sounds great to me! No problems with mine so far. Its very loud for a 450 head I find.

Thanks for the feedback, gents. I had read about the fan being audible, but hopefully it's not at an annoying level.
