Was the other way around for me. I wanted a girl so bad but noooooooo......had to be a boy! Going on 20 now and he's a pain in my @$$!!

The ultrasound technician told us we were having a girl. A few months later a boy popped out! The second time around I told 'em NOT to tell us, and we were pleasantly surprised with a real genuine girl. Of course we are happy, and would have been happy however it turned out either time. The boy is a better singer, the girl likes riding on the back of the motorcycle more. It's all good.

I had the same experience in reverse. Was expecting a second son and at the time of birth the doctor said "weren't we expecting a boy"?, both me and my wife started crying because we wanted a girl. Only thing I had to go to Babies R Us to exchange $300 worth of boys clothes which I had chosen, standing in the aisles dumbfounded trying to figure what my wife would've chose...lol

I was really grateful to have two boys. Then 8 years later, accident: Girl.

She's way better than her brothers. It's just not even close.

I wanted a boy at first, then I thought back to what my brother and I put our parents through. Kidding aside, wouldn't trade my little girl for the world. It's a consistently enlightening experience and I feel she completes me and makes me a better person.

Unfortunately, I'll never have the daughter/dad experience. That would have been very nice I think.

I'm fortunate to have a very loving and wonderful son.
