Had a look at the new 2016 online catalogue..still no SR655 for Oz..big news tho' would have to be that both the Prestige and Premium SDGR's get battery boxes...bout bloody time..

Ibanez has revamped their whole Premium bass Line and the SR's all have the battery box on the back. Some interesting colors can be found this year to especially with the SR1905 and the Rosewood body. Beautiful bass that I might have to get lol. I never could understand why the Premium SR's ever had the battery box on the back instead of the cavity. My only complaint for that series.

Yeah, I see you have a couple of Mikros and a Jag SS, so the TMB30 seems like it would be of interest to you. It has the same electronics as the TMB100, so I imagine it will be priced just like it (199 dollars in the US).

It's actually $179 - a bit less than the TMB100 but it doesn't have the same electronics, it's passive.

I think Ibanez just shreds almost every other bass company when it comes to options and models. Ridiculous variety.

Recently, I've been gassing for the new Ibanez sr305eb. I went to the Ibanez website the other night and I am intrigue by the features and sound qualities based on the demos they've posted. I don't know if it's released or not, but I am definitely saving some cash on getting one. here's the link to the bass itself.

The 4-string SRSC800 is not on the website, though the 5-string SRSC805 is.

The Ibanez reps at NAMM told TB user wintremute the 805 was going to be available in February, but the 800 wouldn't be available until April. That might explain why it's not on the site. Here it is a Sweetwater, 50 bucks cheaper than the 5-string but only available in the one color:
