I see them on eBay and GC Used all the time. As I recall, they were only made for the first few years, when the BTB's were still bolt-ons and Korean-made.

I think its silly to argue the quality of non-Prestige Ibanez instruments is higher than the quality of the Prestige instruments. And silly is being polite
i'd love one of those PJ5s, but i kinda doubt they'll make them available left-handed. if they do, i'll get one, if not, my wallet won't mind.

Or, maybe you aren't sure what a smiley means? Regardless, I wasn't taking a shot at you, merely stating an opinion that the hand made Japanese instruments were nicer by far than the Indonesian factory ones. As a point of reference, I have been a moderator on an Ibanez only forum for 15 years and do know my way around the brand, and have been playing them since '79, so the "ill informed" bit is a bit off the mark. But, way to utterly and completely over react though, most impressive.
*bows* Why thank you. If it was all in good fun, then I apologize; unfortunately emoji don't really convey anything anymore. However, please re-read my original post as well as its replies to which *I* then replied, which you took issue with. I wasn't comparing baseline Indo to handbuilt Japanese. I *inferred* the Korean made BTBs were superior to the Indos. I didn't even touch on the fact that there hasn't been a Prestige, I.e., MIJ, BTB offered since Ibanez moved its main production to Indonesia.
Oh, by the way, even though Star Wars was ruined for me almost 20 years ago, I cannot read the phrase "most impressive" without hearing it in Vader's voice and visualizing the fight scene between and Luke in Cloud City at the end of Empire. This all takes place in less than three seconds.

One of my biggest criticisms of Ibanez is the dearth of colour choices. Basically you can have any colour you want as long as it's black.
I'm really surprised no one's mentioned the Limited Edition Buckeye Burl fiver.
