I see them on eBay and GC Used all the time. As I recall, they were only made for the first few years, when the BTB's were still bolt-ons and Korean-made.I just want a 4 string BTB still!! Love Ibanez. They make some of the best basses around the price points.
But not in the premium or prestige series!I see them on eBay and GC Used all the time. As I recall, they were only made for the first few years, when the BTB's were still bolt-ons and Korean-made.
No, but one could argue the quality and workmanship would be on par or even higher. I could, for example, but I don't.But not in the premium or prestige series!

I think its silly to argue the quality of non-Prestige Ibanez instruments is higher than the quality of the Prestige instruments. And silly is being polite![]()
Politeness is definitely a good character trait to have, yes sir. Much better to be polite, I say, than an ill-informed, hypocritical jackass who doesn't follow the sage advice posted in his own signature while trying to passive-aggressively insult strangers on an internet forum. Yep, big 'ol +1 to being polite from me.![]()

There must be someone on Talkbass who was at Bass Player Live. I need more photos of the fanned fret bass. Make it so.
Love these basses - but they are just so...brown.
Some cool bursts would look awesome over their nice woods.
