if you have to pick between these two,..which one you wanna pick according to playability,...product quality and tone versatility also price

and ah yes,..since kiesel can do custom i wonnder if i wanna do this spec on kiesel

fretboard : zebrawood
neck : black limba and flamed koa with gold evo fretwire
body (chambered) : claro walnut with quilted maple top
pickup : i guess Kiesel radium KRH is fit since i wanna do metal or some modern genre (or better krj ?)

i wanna looking for warm tone with good mid

Kiesel pickups, don't know anything about them, but I'm usually left unimpressed with "house-brand" pickups.
The Ibanez has Nordstrand Big-Splits!

Kiesel also can't tell the difference between rods & bars:

Tough decision.
I did vote Ibanez because I do own a higher class Ibanez and a Carvin and I'd put them in the same ballpark, quality wise - the Ibanez has wood in the neck that's little softer the Carvins, but that's about it. The Carvin was a bit over two grand new and the ibby was half of that, though.
So I suspect, with current price policies, that you can expect top shelf materials and components from the Ibanez while you get a US made product with the Kiesel - that is bound to be more expensive, so they will have to take a few cuts when it comes to electronics and hardware.

they said they pick up can do both parallel and series ,..that's why i consider it has much tonal variety,....or maybe i am wrong ?

They are both 2 pickup Basses with similar pickup locations, so the versatility should be equal. If you want series operation on the Kiesel you will have to mod it, same as the Ibanez.

I voted Ibanez, due to lower cost and better ergonomics. The Vader bass has a shorter top horn which will make the first fret reach a bit longer. I try to avoid that due to shoulder injury, but everyone is different

While a Keisel might be an exotic import in Indonesia, what with your climate, I'd go with the Ibanez as I'm sure there's a distributor (with corresponding warranty support) in country.

I own two Kiesel/Carvin guitars that are great, but I don't like the visual design of any of their headless guitars except the Vader, which they seem to have finally released as a multiscale model.

The Ibanez EHB multiscales are pretty much everything I want, though I am not in love with the finishes. I am considering if I want to go for the blue 1505MS or the seafoam green 1005MS. The differences seem to be mainly body/top wood, fretboard and pickups with a price difference of 300 euros.

Visually the seafoam looks great and the blue one is ok while I can't quite decide if the "Tropical Seafloor" is ugly or not. I hope to see some videos of it.

Any thoughts on Bartolini BH2 vs Nordstrand Big Splits? I have Bartolini MK1s in my Ibanez BTB33 that are...fine but nothing special perhaps?

i am user of nordie big single,...it is just the slightly different because big single tends to get more hum and in the same time had higher attack and lil bit brighter than big split,...

my one and only bass is 2017 sr1400 mlg

Ibanez for me because it's got better access to the higher frets
really ? what do you mean by better access ? slim neck ?

If you're worried about resale I would pick the Ibanez

kiesel wont get drop price that much in my place,..

not really,.....dispute indonesia is one of ibanez factory,..but they here also for european and US market,....some of them cant buy here even it is made from here.,...like sr2400 amethyst.,...you cant buy here and i already contact distributor,..they dont sale it because it is not on asia catalog (imagine region locked sale and distribution,..and that's what happen on ibanez) and you have to import them by yourself with high tax and shipment price and make that bass ridiculously got a really high price till come to your hand,.,..even when that kind of bass already on asia distribution,..just i mean very few music store indonesia with all its many island that dare enough to sale bass more than 10 million rupiah (about more than 850 USD),...you dont know how difficult my journey to got my ibanez sr1400 mlg ,..and it is discontinued 2017 ,....you want sr 5005 prestige with newest year of production ?,....no way you can get it with actual price

I voted Ibanez .

Nordy pickups are very powerful ,Live sounding and It is super crazy that by one switch in passive and active mode same pickup change world or modern sound and powerful vintage style sounding .

Kissel basses demo sound are not as good sounding as the Ibanez .
I trust Ibanez more ,at end of the day they are japanese and they stay in the industry very good.
Kissel is not offering a thing that make me wanna have it .

pick up can do both parallel and series

Yes, but if you want more lows you just use more neck pickup, you want more highs you use the bridge pickup, and if that won't get you there you have an onboard pre-amp.
Ibanez isn't big on parallel/series from what I've seen, because of the onboard pre-amp. I do believe they've reserved that type of switching for completely passive instruments.

BTW, the Big-Splits are going to have more Character than full-length humbuckers.
I wanted to change to the humbucking Big-Splits, but I love the Big-Single "bite" too much!

i see,...i just expect one of zeus user come here and give little review and yes i am agree with you,...nordie big single has bold attack and i have to use tapewound to make it friendly for folk or country song

yeah it bites so hard.....agreed with you

Unless I'm looking at the wrong model I mean the cutout at the lower horn, which is deeper on the Ibanez.
i ask that because both of that bass i never tried that,..not all music store sell that,..and you have to do some kind of "finding someone who capable to bring that thing to my country"

if only those 2 already in music store,...i wont ask on this forum....well this is the sadness livin on 3rd world country,..for the music.,...sometime all you can do is looking as many review as you can and ask people who ever use it,...then order it,...

it's like blindfolded gambling buyer

Hey panzerfaust,

I'm not sure local Indonesian Ibanez distributor would want to bring the EHB1505MS back to our country (yes, they have to reimport the stuffs back from nearest principal rep despite being manufactured in the country. They can't just take products from PT.Cort Indonesia - Ibanez East Java factory), cause they said the initial/list price for the EHB1505MS is going to be 29.7 mil rupiah (retail probably be around 23 milions). Too expensive, although... they are willing to if they are sure who's ordering it.

They are probably just going to bring in a few of the EHB100x series, as these are supposed to sell easier. But... most cases, they would only bring just 1 unit in. Seriously!
