So being rude and lying to a customer was acceptable in the 90's just because they couldn't send me a PDF file like they can now? And they couldn't simply and courteously give me the right number instead of making me feel like I broke the law? At least Fender was courteous when I tried to buy a part I couldn't find back then and was told I had to go through a dealer.
Nah, I'm totally in the right here, and they were jerkoffs. Grudge still stands.
Bad CS on second-hand to me means "no chance at selling to me firsthand." I don't expect free repairs or anything, but at least answer a freaking question! Oh well, I'm not hurting for basses and Ibanez is apparently not hurting for business, so if they don't give a crap about me, the feeling is mutual.Ha, ok, ok. You're in the right as far as "the customer is always," and they lost any future business with you. But CS on secondhand is a place that many businesses draw the line, and I can understand that. Especially when you got the phone number that only the boss' mistress had...![]()
A $1500 Ibanez Prestige will completely SMOKE a Fender of comparable price.
