Ibanez SR premium range experiences and advice

G'day guys, i posted a thread yesterday asking for some advice about an upgraded 5 string (i play an sr305) had many great responses, and today i got to test out alot of peoples recommendations. I have small hands, so i played alot of 5 strings with larger necks, musicmans, jazz v's, even a very nice second hand pedulla thunderbolt 5 which is potentially on the cards. However i got to play the premium SR range today, the models: sr1205 upwards. I just wanted to see what peoples experiences with these basses are. They seem like great quality for not a whole lot of money, i am also interested in the sr755(this isn't in the premium range but it still comes with the nordstrand pickups) if anyone has played these i would greatly appreciate you're experiences with this series of bass, Thanks once again, James.

I think that model SR755 is new for 2015 with the P/J Nordstrands. This is the first I've heard of it, but I'm sure it's a fantastic bass.
Ibanez makes some really nice basses - I've got 5 at the moment.

my thoughts exactly, i haven't actually been able to get my hands on the sr755, but the specs and the aesthetics of it look great! I am particularly interested however in the SR1405T, it's a truly stunning looking bass!

James, looking at your current research, I'd snap up that Pedulla fast. I just listened to the Thunderbolt 5 and the Ibanez Premiums and the Pedulla wins hands down.

i was curious to see peoples responses towards that particular Pedulla bass, it is a stunning looking/sounding instrument. My only slight reservations are that it is £300 more expensive then the sr1405t i have been looking at, and also the neck is quite a bit wider then the SR range. However i am going to have a little play again of the basses i am considering just to really finalise my decision.
