Hello. New to the forum. Just need to get this question answered from the "community." For the past half year I have been searching the area for an Ibanez TR 80 bass (which is a PJ) in black with a red turtle shell pickguard. I have found none of the sort on the internet (reverb, ebay, etc.) or any music store or pawn shop in the area. I'm afraid I will settle for nothing less than the exact type and color. Just wanted to ask if anyone knows anything at all about where to find one or where to look. Thanks.

Yes, I've seen this. I appreciate that you looked. I have had bad experiences with painting basses, guitars, and such and frankly don't trust it anymore, and it's not quite the same if that makes sense. Perhaps I would consider it if it came to a point where I realized there was no other option. I also don't think there is a massive market for old TR80s so if in the near future it came to that point, I would purchase this. Also this listing has been sold. Regardless, I appreciate the thought very much.

Thank you to those who have responded. I do not expect all of those who view this to reply, but I do appreciate it. All I ask for is any information on this specific bass (who has one, where can I find one, ideas as to where to look), and anything in response is greatly appreciated.
Here's a purple TR70. Not sure how this differs from the TR80, looks pretty much the same (except for not being the color you want). If it's basically the same bass, you could add TR70 to your search terms.

I appreciate it very much, but I will once again state, I will accept nothing less than the exact model and color. This is a very personal and precious thing to me and it may seem petty, but I will never purchase or accept anything that is not exactly an Ibanez TR80 in black with a red turtle shell pickguard. Doing an internet search simply isn't enough anymore. I do not expect people to answer, but I don't want answers that are of no use. I ask for people who know where I can get one, people who has one, or people who know where I should look that isn't an internet search.

no clue where to find your ideal but no doubt it's a worthy quest, these are great basses.
When I’m looking for something that’s really hard to find I usually set up a saved search on Reverb and eBay, as well as checking Guitar Center used basses frequently and the classifieds here. Maybe you’re already doing that but it’s been useful for me.
