What about quality? Can it be compared to famous Roadstars or Musicians or less famous Blazers?
It's from 85, has EMG's on-the deck - that I know. I didn't knew that they're shorstscale.

That was the first bass I ever owned, got it new at Sam Ash in NYC. Wish I still had it for nostalgic purposes, but alas, I sold it for some parts. I dont remember how it played or anything, just that I was 15 and it looked METAL at the time.

If you want that style bass, try to find an old Hammer Scarab. The build quality is WAY better. I've played both and much preferred the Hammers. The neck on mine is fanstastic. It sounds like the best standard P/J bass but has the cool body shape. They show up in Ebay once in a while and command a pretty good price. IMHO they are one of the best pointy basses of that era.
I love the neck on the Destroyers.... and the body style.
the Hamers are a little upscaled, but I'd get a real BC Mockingbird before a Scarab personally.
its for metal? rock? funk? what genre?

There are two on E-bay right now- one fairly used, and another that looks almost brand new. Both were made in Japan. Where else were they made, and was there a difference?
